With Super Tuesday and the State of the Union address, the race to become President of the US is hotting up. And it seems that there are now only two likely candidates on the cards: Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
To mark this moment in the campaign, UnHerd gathered together some our favourite free-thinking politics writers to discuss the race for the Whitehouse. Freddie Sayers was joined in Washington DC by Ruy Teixeira, Robby Soave and Emily Jashinsky to ask: who will win in 2024?

SubscribeFreddie, just started to watch and have to say I love your understated trainers!
As in invisible? I can’t see anywhere where we see below Freddie’s knees
You need to be more alert!
Black with a thin sole with a flash of white.
Great discussion. My 2 cents (and it’s probably worth less than 2 cents) is there’s a repeat of the 2022 midterms, where the “red wave” never materialized, and Biden is re-elected. He serves less than a year and has to step down due to failing cognition, and we have President Harris. Yup, not exactly a cheery prediction.
This black background with white writing is very off putting and unforgiving.
..and you can‘t see names. Why UnHerd??
The possibility not listed is Obama doing a 25th amendment replacement of his beard Biden at the Democratic convention and replacing Biden with Michelle Obama. Another possibility is the CIA planning to kill Trump and Trump picking a VP so distasteful to the CIA and the WOKE crowd that they will cancel plans to kill or impeach Trump. Trump must pick a blocker VP or he is a dead man. The list of possible VP that he put out would not block the killing plot. All are people that the CIA could live with. The FBI and CIA killed Kennedy and the leopard does not change its spots.
Bobby Kennedy a major factor? I doubt it. He has to pick a vice president in the next few weeks to get on the ballot in some states. His top two choices? American football player Aaron Rodgers, who will be busy playing quarterback for the New York Jets in the fall. Jesse “the Body” Ventura, the quirky former governor of Minnesota whose main claim to fame is his pro (in other words, faux) wrestling career.
That shows how serious his campaign is. Not very.
