→ Elon Musk’s war with UK deepens

Elon Musk is on the warpath against the UK, criticising mass migration and a supposedly censorious government.

His recent posts on X, which have racked up millions of views, have referred to UK authorities as the “woke Stasi” and joked that the UK will give the death penalty for social media posts. He also claimed the country has a two-tiered justice system which treats Muslims with more leniency and predicted an upcoming civil war.

British lawmakers are blaming X and its owner for helping spread hateful and violent rhetoric behind ongoing riots, and they hope to summon him over the matter. As Musk would say, “Wow.”

→ Nancy Pelosi not ‘impressed’ by Biden’s political operation

Apparently unsatisfied with her total victory over Joe Biden, Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is rubbing salt in the president’s wounds. She recently told the New Yorker that she’s “never been that impressed with [Biden’s] political operation”.

“They won the White House. Bravo. But my concern was: this ain’t happening, and we have to make a decision for this to happen”, she told the outlet while discussing her pivotal appearance on Morning Joe. In the aftermath of Biden’s disastrous debate performance, Pelosi had repeatedly said he needed to make his decision on whether or not to run, despite the president’s then-insistence that he was indeed running.

This strategy continued in the new interview, with Pelosi making cutting remarks while insisting, “I love him so much”. She’s proven who’s really the party leader.

→ Mark Cuban spars with Vivek Ramaswamy

Vivek Ramaswamy sat down this week for a freewheeling conversation with Mark Cuban, the liberal billionaire who’s been defending DEI on X over the past year. Cuban remained steadfast in his belief that DEI merely expands the pool of applicants and does not involve a race-based lowering of meritocratic standards. He also insisted that “wokeness” is not a major issue in the US.

Cuban said he had been a Trump supporter in 2015, but changed his mind upon learning more about his alleged lack of scruples. The two sparred over RussiaGate and Hunter Biden, attempting to persuade the other to join their own political side. “I think I may have gotten him to vote for Kamala Harris”, Cuban teased on X. Spoiler alert: he didn’t.
