No one — including the presumably Left-leaning audience of Stephen Colbert’s Late Show — believes CNN is a wholly objective outlet.

CNN anchor Kaitlin Collins, a guest on the show last night, was discussing Joe Biden’s exit from the 2024 race when Colbert remarked that CNN was “objective,” and that they “just report the news as it is,” only to be met with laughter from the audience.
“Was that supposed to be a laugh line?” Collins asked. “It wasn’t supposed to be, but I guess it is,” Colbert said, to another round of audience laughter. A friendly audience isn’t always a good thing.
