It’s been a week of good Covid news for Brits. Prior to today’s story that Brits can start thinking about foreign holidays this summer, another promising announcement came from Prof Tim Spector, an epidemiologist from King’s College London. In a video released yesterday (above), Prof Spector suggested that “we can all look forward to a relaxing summer” in light of the new data coming out:
We had Prof Spector on LockdownTV back in November, in which he argued against a second lockdown, fearing that the vaccine would be used as a “carrot” to prolong it for as long as possible. His fears were largely proven correct, but nevertheless his ZOE app data all paints a rather positive picture of what the next few months will look like.
